If you receive the "Remote Not Detected Error" or are instructed to "Place the key in transmitter pocket" - like the picture below - try the following:

• Try pressing the Power button to "shut off" the car and then try pressing again to turn it on; if that doesn't work,
• Press the "Lock/Unlock" button from the main app screen and try to lock and then unlock the doors. Then try pressing the Power button again.
• If that doesn't work, completely close the app on your phone, re-open it and go back into your reservation, and then try unlocking the vehicle.

The critical step is to be able to unlock the car as this also tells the car it's okay to start. Because there is no key, as a safety measure the app must authorize the car to start. Going through the locking and unlocking process typically solves this issue.

If you have no cell or wifi service

When this situation occurs check to see if you have cellular/mobile or wifi service. While the car connects to your phone using bluetooth it uses the internet as a back up. In some areas where mobile phone service is spotty you may find that this problem is solved when your phone has cell service again (which can happen even while you're standing still - the cell signal can vary in strength every few minutes).
